We asked our seller:

  • When we began our search, our hearts were set on finding a gem in Rogers Park, so initially, this enchanting home didn't even grace our radar. It was serendipity, really, how my agent stumbled upon it, as if the universe conspired to lead us here. From the moment I laid eyes on it, I knew it was special—it was as though it had been waiting just for us, ticking every single box on my wish list with an effortless grace.

The moment I stepped inside, I was utterly captivated by the warmth of the exposed brick walls; they spoke to me of timeless elegance and stories woven into the very fabric of this home. And then there was the view of the courtyard—a verdant oasis that bursts into a riot of lush greenery in the summer, creating a picturesque backdrop that fills the space with life and color.

But it wasn't just the visual allure that stole my heart. The layout of this home was like a melody that flowed seamlessly from one space to another—large, distinct rooms that somehow managed to feel incredibly open and inviting. It was this perfect balance that made me feel at home from the outset.

And the closet in the primary bedroom—oh, what a dream! It wasn't just a space; it was a sanctuary for my belongings, offering a lavish expanse that promised to cradle my world in its embrace.

In every nook and cranny, this home whispered promises of laughter, comfort, and memories waiting to be made. It wasn't just a house; it was a canvas for our future. And that, in the end, is why this home stood out from all the others. It wasn't about the bricks and mortar; it was about the heart and soul that seemed to resonate with our own.

    1. The exposed brick gave it a lot of character

    2. The walk in closet

    3. The layout is great, because it has a dining room but still open.

  • Living on Clyde, a quiet one-way street, is like finding an oasis of calm in the city. It's wonderfully peaceful, with just enough neighborly laughter and the rustling of leaves to fill the air, offering a tranquil retreat from the usual urban bustle.

Just down the block, there's a charming little park that's become a treasured escape, perfect for leisurely strolls or quiet afternoons under the shade of a tree. It's a little piece of nature's calm right at my doorstep.

The vibrant Howard Street Corridor is just around the corner, bustling with amazing restaurants that bring the world's flavors to me. It's a culinary adventure every time I step out, with new tastes and experiences waiting to be discovered.

Transportation is a breeze, with the Red and Purple Lines nearby, making trips to downtown Evanston or into the heart of Chicago effortless. The convenience of getting around adds so much to the joy of living here.

Rogers Park, with its diverse community and businesses, enriches the experience. It's a neighborhood alive with variety, where every corner has something new to offer. This place isn't just where I live; it's a part of who I am, blending peace, adventure, and community into a home I love.

Lake View Gem: 2929 N Honore St Unit F

New To Market

2929 N Honore St Unit F

Size: 3 Bed / 2 Bath

Location: 2929 N Honore St Unit F

HOA: $275 / Month

Price: $515,000

Fresh to the market is our new property at 2929 N Honore, and we are extremely excited about it! A beautiful 3 Bed / 2 Bath townhome situated in the Landmark Village Townhome community that is nestled between the Roscoe Village and the West Lakeview areas.

Landmark Village was done in several phases, but all of them are highly sought after. The reason? It was a full brick townhome complex, which didn’t always happen. This phase, featured 12 homes that are privately gated unlike the other phases, which provides the most amount of security.

The other unique factor for this property is that it is only one of two units in the complex that actually has a roof top deck. Extremely nice in the summer time! Actually, this home comes with three outdoor spaces, and one is right off the front living room.

My favorite is the warm and inviting living space. It has a wood burning (gas starter) fireplace which is always so cozy. Large windows shed light in from the south and north sides of the unit. The kitchen is updated with white cabinets and gold fixtures.

We Asked Our Sellers…

What made you choose this home over the others when you were looking to buy?

We chose this home over all the others because we not only loved that it had a garage and outdoor spaces, it had THREE outdoor spaces. Compared to other traditional condos we saw, this one felt so homey and compared to other 'townhouse'-like condos we saw, this one felt much more spacious. We loved that the bedrooms were upstairs, away from the living area. Having an extra room with a full bath attached and Murphy bed was another huge factor. When we had out of town guests, they could have their own private suite. The neighborhood is the best of both worlds. You get city living with proximity to tons of great restaurants and bars as well as a family-friendly neighborhood feel.

What are 3 favorite features of your home?

The fireplace is a game changer in the winter. Each year, the HOA organizes a firewood delivery, which we would go in on, and would get enough wood to make a fire almost every night!

We love having the front deck and rooftop deck. The rooftop deck is a perfect oasis in the summer -- it's a great space to lay out and get a suntan during the day, and fun to have some friends over for a drink on a nice summer night. Having a grill on the front deck makes it easy and fun to grill year round - even in the winter - because it's right there!

We recently upgraded to a new washer and dryer and it has made laundry day a little bit less dreadful. :)

Did you entertain others in the home? If so, how was it?

We entertained here all the time! We've had Friendsgivings, Thanksgivings, book clubs, murder mystery parties, tailgates and more. It's a perfect size for a mid-sized group for a dinner party of 6-8 people. For larger group gatherings, we've rearranged the furniture to fit more for a seated dinner or created 'sections' across the main floor, setting people in the living room area, dining area and kitchen counter area. During football season, we'll take the car out of the garage and bring a TV out and invite the neighbors and family over for beer and college football.

What are the best parts of this location?

The best part of this location is that it truly is the best of both worlds - it's in the city, but has a very cozy, quiet, almost suburban-like feel. A few blocks away, there's restaurants, shops and bars and the other direction is Costco and other chain stores like Ulta, Bath & Body Works and more.

What are your favorite local restaurants?

So many to choose from! Sal's Trattoria for Italian, Same Same for Thai on Roscoe and Side Street Saloon for pizza, beer and pool.

What is one hidden gem about the neighborhood?

There is a free outdoor, public pool at Hamlin Park in the summer.

On a really nice day, what is your favorite thing to do in the neighborhood?

Walk over to Cody's Public House with our dog and have a beer! It's dog friendly year-round, but the patio is newly updated.

If you were to describe this neighborhood in three words, what would they be?

Eclectic, family-friendly, quiet

Last words:

All of the neighbors know each other, get along, help each other out and spend time together in the courtyard. The HOA president does so much to keep the outside of the property looking great. We'll definitely miss our neighbors who became friends!
